Thailand Coffee Shop

Even from a young age, it’s been clear to me that God designed me to be a designer. Well, the first thing I wanted to be when I was growing up was an astronaut… ha! I went from that to wanting to become a florist. Then, after I went on my first mission trip with my whole family to Juarez, Mexico, I wanted to become a missionary. In an orphanage there, even at the young age of ten years old, I discovered that a big part of God’s design for my destiny involved reaching people in other cultures for Christ. Around my middle school years, I decided that architecture/interior design was the thing for me. I would spend hours flipping through books of floor plans and started sketching floor plans of my own. I drew floor plans of my ‘dream house’ at age 12.
