Parade of Homes 2013 - Photo Flashback

As winter goes on, it's a pleasant time to revisit a couple of homes from this past summer's Parade of Homes. Both of the ones pictured below were designed by LGA Studios and built in Mountain Shadows, a part of town that had our efforts and our hearts.
One of our colleagues also blogged about the Parade while it was open and included some additional description of the two homes photographed below. Check out her entry for more information, and also just because the Rocky Mountain Plan Company's blog has some great ideas and Colorado Springs news.

First, Murphy's Custom Homes' lovely Chateau de belle vues:

Love how the skylight in the vaulted ceiling came out

There's nothing wrong with that view!

Stauffer & Sons was heavily involved in the reconstruction of Mountain Shadows, helping many people get their homes back.  Their Parkside Revival model was one of our favorites this year; some LGA Studios' members were ready to move in!

Our clients liked a little more formality to their floor plan.  The fireplace partially separated the main level into a sitting area and a food prep/eating area

  1. Hi!

Those are pretty good tips! I just want to share my story. I recently purchased a house in Colorado. I was having trouble fitting in our old bulky stuffs from our previous home. I came across Murphys Custom Home. The were good people to work with in customizing your own place. They helped me out from designing, renovating and organizing. You can check out their website at www.murphyscustomhomes.com
